"Air cargo businesses now have a new range of quality, TSA-compliant screening options for custom solutions to their specific X-ray system needs," said Dennis Cooke, president and chief executive officer of Morpho Detection. "Morpho Detection's qualified technology-listed HRX X-ray systems are specifically designed to meet the demanding air cargo industry requirements."

The HRX models' qualifications are part of TSA's Certified Cargo Screening Program, an initiative to employ supply chain solutions to enable air cargo industry compliance with screening regulations.

The California company also announced it has been contracted by Airport Authority of Hong Kong to install four CTX 9400 DSi explosives detection systems at Hong Kong International Airport.

The systems will replace the airport's existing deployment of Morpho Detection's CTX 5500 DS scanners. Both models use computed tomography imaging technology, but the CTX 9400 DSi offers higher resolution on-screen images, allowing system operators to make smarter, safer, faster decisions.
