WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Trek Bicycle Corp. of Waterloo, Wis., is recalling 27,000 bicycles with weak bolts that secure the seat saddle clamp, a watchdog agency said.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said model year 2012 bicycles, the Trek 7.2 FX, 7.3 FX, 7.4 FX, and 7.5 FX are involved in the recall.

The recall also involves 9th District model WSD, Livestrong and Disc model bicycles
The bicycles were sold nationwide from May 2011 through September 2011 for between $550 and $1,100.
Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled bicycles and contact a Trek dealer for a free replacement bolt.
