SEOUL, March 2 (UPI) -- The chairman of Samsung Group, Lee Kun-hee, with assets amounting to $3.3 billion, was declared the richest man in South Korea for the second year Tuesday.
The announcement was made by the equity information company Media Equitable, and reported by the Korean Times on Tuesday.

Other men who made the list were, in order, Lotte Group chairman, Shin Kyuk-ho; Hyundai Motor Company chairman, Chung Mong-koo; LG Group honorary chairman, Koo Cha-kyung; Shinsegae Group chairwoman, Lee Myung-hee; Kumgang Korea Chemical honorary chairman, Chung Sang-young; Hankook Tire chairman, Cho Yang-rae; Amore Pacific head, Seo Kyeong-bae; CJ Group chairman, Lee Jae-hyun and Daekyo Group chairman, Kang Young-joong.
