Moscow Radio announces Kennedy assassination
MOSCOW, Nov. 22, 1963 (UPI) - Moscow Radio's commentator, in mournful tones, tonight announced the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. "It is said he has been murdered by the extreme right wing elements," he said.

NEW YORK, Nov. 22, 1963 (UPI) - The New York Stock Exchange closed operations today after word of the assassination attempt against President Kennedy. The cotton and the wool exchanges also closed.
Rusk planes turns back on word of Kennedy assassination
WASHINGTON, Nov. 22, 1963 (UPI) - The military transport plane bearing Secretary of State Dean Rusk and other cabinet ministers to a meeting in Japan turned back between Honolulu and Tokyo today upon receipt of the report concerning the assassination of tOn the plane with Rusk were Treasury Secretary Douglas Dillon, Commerce Secretary Luther Hodges and several other high officials.

LONDON, Nov. 22, 1963 (UPI) - The British Broadcasting Corporation after flashing the death of President Kennedy stopped regular broadcasting for several moments and played funeral music by Brahams.A radio announcer said apologetically, "Sorry we need a moment to collect ourselves."

JEFFERSON, Wis., Nov. 22, 1963 (UPI) - President Kennedy's younger sister, Rose, learned of his assassination today while watching a television broadcast from Dallas, Tex., where he was shot."She knows he is dead," said a spokesman at St. Colleta's, where she has lived for the past 20 years. "She was watching on television."
