NUREMBERG, Nov. 20, 1945 (UP) - Twenty leaders of the Nazi regime went on trial before a United Nations tribunal today and listened to an indictment holding them responsible for World War II.

Evidence also was presented to show that Hitler and Jap Foreign Minister Yosuke Matsuoka discussed German-Jap co-operation in a war against the United States eight months before Pearl Harbor.

NUREMBERG, Nov. 27, 1945 (UP) -- While secret Nazi documents, disclosing Germany's long preparations for war, were introduced at the war crimes trial today, it was learned that Allied medical experts have decided almost unanimously that Rudolf Hess is temporarily insane.

NUREMBERG, Nov. 29, 1945 (UP) - A tense audience at the war crimes trial watched for 52 horror-packed minutes today a 6,000-foot American Army film baring conditions at Nazi concentration camps. The prosecution charged that the camps were an instrument of policy of German leaders, including the 20 men on trial in the courtroom, in their drive for power.

NUREMBERG, Dec. 13, 1945 (UP) -- The Nazi Gestapo in 1944 offered to "sell" 1,000,000 Hungarian Jews for $2 each and said the alternative was their extermination in concentration camps, the War Crimes Tribunal was told today.

HAMBURG, Germany, Dec.14, 1945 (UP) - Joseph Kramer, the Beast of Belsen, his blond queen, Irma Grese, and nine of their Nazi concentration camp aides were hanged yesterday in the courtyard of the prison at Hamelin, it was announced today.

NUREMBERG, Dec. 15, 1945 (UP) -- Rudolf Hess flew to Scotland in 1941 with a peace proposal under which Germany would have had a free hand in all Europe and Britain would retain her empire virtually intact.

NUREMBERG, Dec. 17, 1945 (UP) -- Assistant prosecutor Ralph G. Storey demanded today that the four-power tribunal declare probably 1,500,000 Nazis who held 700,000 offices to be automatic war criminals because they held such offices.

NUREMBERG, Feb. 11, 1946 (UP) - Field Marshal Friedrich von Paulus, commander of the captured German Sixth Army at Stalingrad, took the witness stand at the war crimes trial today to put the finger on Hermann Goering as a prime instigator of the Nazi attack on Russia.

NUREMBERG, March 8, 1946 (UP) -- Reichsmarshal Hermann Goering tried vainly to prevent war and only built up the Luftwaffe for use if Germany's neighbors started it, his onetime second in command testified before the war crimes court today.
