Palestinians search the rubble of their destroyed homes after an overnight Israeli bombardment in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday. Later in the day, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire for the remainder of Ramadan, which ends April 6.
