Tornados, wind kill more than 30 overnight
ALA2002111105 - CARBON HILL, Ala., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Attorney James Johnson removed shards of broken glass from the frame of a shattered plate glass window on Nov. 11, 2002 at his office in Carbon Hill, Ala. As many as 36 people were killed by tornadoes and straight-line wind storms that swept across the South and the Ohio Valley, emergency managers in four states reported Monday. rlw/bs/Billy Suratt UPI
