Syrians continue to demonstrate against President Bashar al Assad waving banners, and signs that send a message to the outside world of the ongoing violence taking place in the embattled country. On Friday, May 2, a Red Cross aid convoy prepared to enter the shattered Baba Amro district of Homs after a Syrian official declared the area "cleansed" and the opposition spoke of a massacre by President al-Assad's forces.
