Bird crashes through airplane window

He deserves a medal for keeping his cool.

FORT MYERS, Fla., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A Florida pilot flying over Ft. Myers had a bird smash through the window of his plane mid-flight.

Rob Weber was flying his single engine plane 1,000 feet above ground at 170 mph when the bird shattered his windshield. Weber suffered only a minor cut to his forehead and was able to keep calm and land the plane at the local airport.
