Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Lea Michele won't debut her first single in full until she performs it on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Thursday, but the 27-year-old actress released a 90-second clip of "Cannonball" on her website Monday.

Michele has already shared the tracklist from her forthcoming album, Louder, and tweeted snaps of her first-ever music video shoot. With Glee wrapping up after six seasons, Michele will have more time to focus on her solo music career.

Showrunner Ryan Murphy has said that the decision to end the show next season was directly related to the sudden death of Michele's boyfriend, star Cory Monteith.

"It's really [expletive] hard. It's hard. It's hard everyday," Murphy said back in October. "It's hard in the writer's room. It's hard on the set. It just feels like ... It's hard, too, because we're getting ready to wrap up a series. We're going to do one more year and that's it. So, the last scene and the last stories were always very Cory heavy."
