Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Entertainment Weekly called Sandra Bullock "the gift that keeps on giving" in their article honoring the 49-year-old actress as the Entertainer of the Year.

Bullock showed off her incredible acting range -- the one that earned her the top title on EW's list -- by starring in two completely different blockbuster films this year. First there was the buddy cop comedy The Heat in which she starred alongside hilarious Melissa McCarthy and then came Gravity, the Alfonso Cuaron-directed sci-fi thriller, where she plays Dr. Ryan Stone opposite to George Clooney.

While speaking to the magazine, Bullock, who hasn't dated anyone since divorcing Jesse James in 2010, explained that she has no rush in getting back in the dating field.

"If [a relationship] should come along, great," Bullock told Entertainment Weekly. "But I feel like I'm not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will. But my son is 3 years old, which is an amazing age. Four is an even better age. So if something happens, great, but if not, I've got plenty to do."
