(UPI) -- Christina Ricci married fiancé James Heerdegen during a ceremony at Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall on Manhattan's Upper East Side on Saturday. Ricci and Heerdegen have been engaged since February.
The star wore a white Givenchy haute couture gown featuring Chantilly lace appliqué, satin piping and full-length sleeves covered with embroidered micro pearls.
Although Ricci and Heerdegen opted not to have a traditional first dance, they did decide to have a candy table. The couple met when Heerdegen was working as a camera technician on the now-cancelled TV series Pan Am.
After the pair's engagement, Ricci said she couldn't wait to tie the knot.
“Getting to say ‘fiancé’ instead of ‘boyfriend’ is my favorite thing,” she said. “I can't wait for ‘husband’ because then I can really throw my weight around -- ‘My husband's going to come down here and talk to you!’ That's a huge threat.”
