(UPI) -- All seven schools have been closed in Danvers, Mass., after the stabbing of a teacher at Danvers Middle School.

The suspect, a 14-year-old boy, was being held on suspicion of murder after the teacher was found in the woods behind the school.

He was arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Salem on a murder charge and held without bail. The teen will be tried as an adult in the alleged slaying.

The teacher, 24-year-old Colleen Ritzer, was found after she failed to return home and did not answer her cell phone Tuesday evening.

Police say there is surveillance video taken from inside the school that shows the suspect, a recent transfer student at the school, dragging Ritzer's body outside, but that video has not been released.
