Kris Jenner talks Kanye West: He's a 'great dad'

Kanye West has developed an angry reputation -- thanks to several run-ins with the paparazzi and a recent Twitter rant against Jimmy Kimmel. But Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner sees another side to the 36-year-old rapper, who lives in her Los Angeles home with girlfriend Kim and daughter Nori.

"I love him so much," Jenner told E!'s Ross Matthews in a recent interview. "He's such an amazing boyfriend to Kim and a great dad and a wonderful person."

"And that's why I thought it was so cool to have him on my show, and I got to sit down with him for an entire hour, and I think people saw this other side to him," she added.

The 57-year-old daytime talk show host scored a rare sit-down with West in August, during which he gushed about his love for Kardashian.

"He's creative and he's an amazing, amazing human being, he really is," Jenner went on to say.

"And he doesn't always do interviews and get the chance to really express himself like that, so I was really glad that I got a chance to sit down and talk with him. And it made me so happy that, you know, you guys got to see the Kanye that I know at home," she said.
