Kanye West's egomaniacal defensiveness is part of his public persona, so it's not surprising that the 36-year-old wasn't happy with Jimmy Kimmel's light-hearted mockery of his ridiculous media statements.
"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS," West began an all-caps Twitter rant on Thursday.
He's referring to this video package, in which adorable kids reenact West's interview with the BBC.
"JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER," West continued. "YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"
SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F***ING BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!! I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING. WHO YOU MADE IT CLEAR TO ME WASN'T YOUR FAMILY WHEN I WAS ON THEN PHONE WITH YOU 5 MINUTES AGO, YOU MANIPULATIVE MEDIA MUTHERF***ER.
West concluded with this kicker, a reference to Kimmel's ex girlfriend, and a few more rude Twitter images.
SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!
Kimmel said he would respond to the criticism on Thursday's episode of "Late Night."
"I'll tell you the whole story about @kanyewest tonight on the show - this is not a prank, I promise (unless it's being played on me)," the TV comedian tweeted.
