AJ McCarron still dating Katherine Webb, despite reports of breakup

Katherine Webb and A.J. McCarron were reported to have broken up this morning.

Those reports said that Webb's own mother confirmed the breakup, citing travel tensions.

“Yes [they've broken up],” Katherine’s mother, Leslie Webb, confirmed to Radar. “Katherine’s just trying to stay real busy.”

"She is working a lot and A.J. is in the middle of the college football season."

Webb also responded to the rumors on Twitter.

The couple became famous since announcers pointed out Webb cheering on Alabama quarterback McCarron in the BCS National Championship.

Three months ago, Webb said that she and McCarron were "doing great," but that an engagement was still a long way off.

"I promise you, you guys will know when that time comes."
