Taylor 'from the block' Swift teams up with JLo for new song

Taylor Swift will be featured on Jennifer Lopez's next album.

Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez are set to collaborate on a new song.

The two singers recently joined forces during Swift's Aug. 25 concert at the L.A. Staples Center where they performed a duet version of Lopez's "Jenny From the Block." According to a source, the two finalized the collaboration plan after the performance.

"Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT," Swift tweeted after the show.

"@taylorswift13 had so much fun with you tonight!!! #RedTourLA #jennyfromtheblock #hairbrushsongs," Lopez replied.

The new song will reportedly appear on JLo's upcoming album which is due out next year.

"Both of them are huge fans of each other and excited to work together!" a source told Us Weekly.

In addition to working on what will be her eighth studio album, Lopez will be keeping busy over the next few months as she is set to come back as a judge for the upcoming season of "American Idol."
