Eddie Murphy and Snoop Lion make reggae record

It turns out actor and comedian Eddie Murphy quietly joined Twitter in order to promote upcoming album "9" -- a reggae collaboration with Snoop Lion.

Murphy hasn't been on the music scene since the string of records he released in the '80s and early '90s, including the Rick James-produced hit "Party All The Time."

"Red Light" is the first single released, and features a guest verse from Snoop Dogg, as his reggae alter-ego Snoop Lion.
