For the shirt, Griffin was hit with a $10,000 fine for "wearing unauthorized apparel"—a rule that applies to any appearance on gameday, including warmups.
The report did not specify which piece of apparel cost him, but NFL rules mandate Nike gear. The Operation Patience shirt has an Adidas logo on the back.
It's Griffin's second fine for being loyal to Adidas. In December, he was docked $10,000 for covering up the Nike logo with a permanent marker.
