[PHOTOS] Robert Griffin III marries Rebecca Liddicoat in Denver

Congratulations to 23-year-old Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III, the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year, who married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Liddicoat, in Denver on Saturday.

According to NFL.com, Griffin's current coach, Mike Shanahan, and his former coach, Baylor University's Art Briles were among the attendees.

Washington, D.C., radio personality Rock Newman attended the wedding, and posted Facebook photos of the young couple celebrating their nuptials.

Newman had this message for Griffin and Liddicoat:

My view-RG3 & REBECCA are 2 individuals who found a profound and deep love for each other. Their authenticity was transparent and their palpable mutual love supersedes all things superficial

Griffin tweeted his own excitement, and retweeted congratulations that poured in from friends, family and the sports world.

The happy couple have been engaged since 2010, when they attended Baylor University together.
