Denver Broncos star Von Miller was arrested Sunday at a gun shop in Colorado after the mandatory background check needed to shoot at the range revealed there was a warrant for his arrest.

The 24-year-old linebacker was trying to enter the Centennial Gun Store and Range in Denver when he submitted himself to the background check.

The results exposed that an arrest warrant had been issued for Miller back in January after he failed to appear in court to face multiple traffic violations. According to reports, Miller was charged with careless driving, driving without a license and having no proof of insurance in October 2012

The linebacker was immediately taken into custody to a nearby Sheriff's Department where he was booked. He was eventually released on a $1,000 bond.

According to TMZ, a rep for the Broncos said the team was aware of Miller's arrest but did not say if the player would face disciplinary action.
