Katy Perry unveiled the cover art for her upcoming single "Roar" via Twitter on Thursday.

"!! ATTENTION UK !! EXCLUSIVELY for u guys, be the 1ST ones to see the #ROAR artwork NOW by pre-ordering single HERE: http://po.st/RoarUKiTunes" the singer wrote.

"Roar" will be the first single of Perry's upcoming album, Prism.

The single's cover art features a photo of the 28-year-old singer wearing a denim jacket with a roaring tiger on the back inside a tiger-print frame. The relatively conservative and not-so-colorful shot reiterates Perry's claim that she wanted to lay her old image to rest.

A previous teaser clip for her upcoming album, shows the "Firework" singer burying her old self.

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, a new beginning is a must! #ROAR," Perry tweeted with a link to the teaser.

Perry's "Roar" is set to debut on August 12.
