Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe will allegedly be let go also as the franchise will attempt to revamp it's declining ratings. The rumored makeover might also feature themed nights, a tactic implemented by fellow reality television singing competition show "X Factor," in an effort to attract a younger demographic.
