American Eagle Outfitters has released a new version of the skinny jeans, or at least they say they have.

Dubbed the "Skinny Skinny" jeans these pants appear to be so tight that they look as if they were painted on the wearer's body, (and maybe they are).

In what is likely a profoundly elaborate marketing tactic, AEO introduced its new jeans, the "Skinny Skinny" jeans through a tweet on Thursday.

In the advertisement for the pants, the models wear impossibly tight jeans that leave little to the imagination.

According to the AEO website they're only selling 1,000 pairs, one size fits all, and the jeans come in a can. But if you try to order them, a window pops up stating the jeans are temporarily sold out and asking for an e-mail address.

The HuffPost says it's unlikely that American Eagle is actually producing the "Skinny Skinny," but that instead they're conducting an incredible marketing ploy.

What do you think?
