A CATI POST-POLL SURVEY OF AMERICAN VOTERS ON THE ELECTION DAY

The UPI/CVoter Post-Poll survey is based on telephone interviews with approximately 5000 registered voters. Results for this release are based on sample size of 3750 registered voters for general questions and LV (Likely Voters) for candidate support question. The candidate support figures are result of the question "Who did you vote for in the presidential election held today?" and "Did you vote early? If yes; was it by mail or in person?". These questions were asked to all registered voters and analysed after screening only for the respondents who confirmed that they votes in the elections; early; or on the election day. Those respondents who are confirmed to vote but did not disclose which candidate they supported are analyzed as undecided. Data is weighted to known census profile and margin of error is +/- 3.5 for the total sample at the 95% confidence level and margin of error for likely voters is +/-4.5 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. Data weighted to the known demographic profile. The tables may add up to 99.9% or 100.1% due to rounding up of data by computer.
