NORRISTOWN, Pa., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- A coroner ruled Tuesday that Bradley William Stone, a Pennsylvania man accused of killing six relatives, killed himself by taking a lethal cocktail of drugs.

Stone, 33, was found dead Dec. 16, in a wooded area near Pennsburg, Pa., one day after his ex-wife and five of her family members were found dead at three separate locations.

A seventh person was severely injured.

Investigators initially believed Stone stabbed himself to death, but the Montgomery County coroner said his injuries were not fatal.

The coroner said Tuesday the cause of death was due to a "combined drug intoxication" from ingesting a mixture of Trazodone, Risperidone and mCPP. The coroner said the death was a suicide.

Stone's body was discovered 12 hours after he died. Investigators found two knives, a large handled machete and a double-bladed axe. They also found two medicine bottles, one with a crushed up powder substance. An energy drink container nearby also had the powder on the lip.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Isadore Mihalikas said there was a seven-centimeter deep stab wound in Stone's upper thigh and three superficial cuts to his leg and hip area. He also had 10 scratches on his face and neck.
