BRISBANE, Australia, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- An Australian police department joked a Secret Santa's "suspicious package" -- a Nickelback CD -- "will now be destroyed."

The Queensland Police Service posted a picture on its Facebook page Monday showing a partially unwrapped CD by the oft-mocked Canadian band with a caption poking fun at the gag gift.

"Police media team report a suspicious package has been received as part of the office secret Santa. It will now be destroyed #BlameCanada #JokesOnUs," the Facebook post read.

The QPS is well known for using humor in social media postings. A post from Dec. 18 cautioning motorists to be wary of road rage read, "Park! The Herald Angels Sing! Stay calm behind the wheel -- car park rage won't get you on Santa's nice list."
