LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- The space thriller "Gravity," starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, led the box office for the third weekend in a row with $31.03 million.
"Captain Phillips," starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Keener, was second for the second weekend in a row with $17.3 million.

"Carrie (2013)" was a close third with $17 million; "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" fourth with $10.1 million; "Escape Plan" fifth with $9.8 million; "Prisoners" sixth with $2,065 million; " Enough Said" seventh with $1.8 million; "The Fifth Estate" eighth with $1.714 million; "Runner Runner" ninth with $1.625 million.
"Insidious Chapter 2" was 10th with $1.533 million.
