The suspected drug dealer who reportedly confessed to the killing has not been charged, the newspaper said.

The suspect allegedly admitted punching Pravia, fastening an electrical cord around his neck, stuffing a plastic bag down his throat and smothering him, police say.

He then reportedly took Pravia's laptop, cellular phone and iPod before fleeing the apartment. Police sources told the newspaper the suspect did not have sexual contact with Pravia, who is gay.
