Hells Angel sues over strip club shooting

TORONTO, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A member of the Hells Angels in Toronto wounded by a strip club bouncer has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $1 million.

Francisco Lenti, reputedly a member of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, allegedly killed one man and wounded two others in the December 2006 shooting at Club Pro Adult Entertainment in Vaughan.

Carlo Verrelli in his lawsuit said that the club should have checked Lenti for weapons and installed security precautions like metal detectors, The Toronto Sun reported Wednesday.

Investigators said the shooting was part of a feud between the Bandidos and Hells Angels. Lenti allegedly thought that the rival group had a contract out on him and two members of the Hells Angels in the Toronto area have been charged with conspiring to kill him. Lenti has pleaded innocent to charges of second-degree murder and attempted murder.
