Rush, the son of Rep. Bobby L. Rush, D-Ill., allegedly had sex with at least two female inmates on day passes from the center, the Sun-Times reported. Rush has been on paid leave since June 22.

Prosecutors in two counties where the sex acts allegedly occurred are reviewing whether to bring charges against Rush under a state law that bans

corrections employees from having sex with inmates, sources familiar with the case told the Sun-Times. The law carries a punishment of up to five years in prison.
