BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Violent protests broke out during the reburial ceremony of former Argentine President Juan Peron, La Nacion reported Tuesday.
Union members associated with the Peronist political party were apparently upset they could not gain access to the ceremony and began fighting for entry. Several shots were reportedly fired and dozens of people hurt in the melee.

One police officer was reportedly hurt.
Peron's body was moved from a cemetery in Buenos Aires to a mausoleum the suburbs.
