Natural gas sector upbeat on dividend plan

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- An industry association said Wednesday President Bush's economic plan could boost the natural gas sector by encouraging investment in new infrastructure. The American Gas Association said dropping dividend taxes would encourage more investment in gas-based utility company stocks.
