With 13 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Alexander left his courtside seat and headed toward referee Bill Kennedy. As Kennedy stood along the sideline watching the play, Alexander walked up to him, yelled something and then walked back to his seat as Kennedy turned and glanced at him briefly. Kennedy did not appear to say anything.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Alexander would not comment after the game Tuesday, saying only that at the time he was: "upset, very upset."
