Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker was held out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Miami Heat due to a violation of team rules.

The Bucks held a team meeting after losing their fourth straight game on Friday night and Parker said the point of view he expressed wasn't received well by other players or head coach Jason Kidd.

Kidd declined to divulge Parker's violation.

The contest against the Heat marked the first time Parker didn't start this season. The third-year pro is averaging 20.5 points per game.

Rookie Thon Maker made his first career start in place of Parker.
