MLB: Toronto 7, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, July 13 (UPI) -- J.P. Arencibia supplied a go-ahead, two-run single and Edwin Encarnacion belted a two-run homer Saturday, powering Toronto over Baltimore 7-3.

Encarnacion's blast with Jose Reyes aboard came in the first inning and handed the Blue Jays a quick 2-0 lead.

But Toronto later fell behind 3-2 and needed Arencibia's two-run single -- which sent home Adam Lind and Colby Rasmus -- to grab the lead for good in the sixth.

Lind and Rasmus each finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and Jose Bautista also drove in a run as the Blue Jays evened their two-game series.

Aaron Loup (4-3) tossed 1 1/3 scoreless relief innings to record the victory and Casey Janssen notched his 18th save for Toronto.

Orioles starter Jason Hammel (7-6) was roughed up for six runs on 10 hits over six innings.

Chris Davis pounded his major league-best 36th homer and Adam Jones added his 18th for Baltimore, which saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
