NHL: Columbus 6, San Jose 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Brandon Dubinsky scored 43 seconds into the game Monday, triggering an offensive outburst that carried Columbus to a 6-2 drubbing of San Jose.

The Blue Jackets' center also added an assist while Nikita Nikitin, Mark Letestu, James Wisniewski, Vinny Prospal and Cody Goloubef all found the net as Columbus broke a three-game skid.

Steve Mason earned the victory with 25 saves.

The Sharks, meanwhile, saw their losing streak stretch to five games despite scores from Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski.

Thomas Greiss coughed up all six Blue Jackets on 36 shots.
