NBA: San Antonio 108, Phoenix 99

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Tony Parker heated up in the fourth quarter Saturday and the San Antonio Spurs outscored Phoenix 27-17 down the stretch for a 108-99 victory.

Parker's 11 late points sparked the torrid final frame for the Spurs, who recorded their eighth straight win despite the absence of the injured Tim Duncan (knee).

Parker finished with 31 points while Manu Ginobili came off the bench to pop in 20.

Tiago Splitter has 13 points and eight rebounds, Boris Diaw scored 11 points and Stephen Jackson scored 10 for the Spurs.

Michael Beasley led the Suns with 25 points and Jared Dudley added 23.
