SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Tony Parker scored six points during a game-closing run Friday that lifted San Antonio to a 95-88 triumph over Golden State.
San Antonio won its third straight and improved its home record to a league-best 18-2. The Warriors have dropped three in a row and five out of six.
It was a tie game with seven minutes to go before the Spurs went on a 13-6 surge to end the contest.
Tim Duncan put San Antonio in front for good on a jumper with 6:12 remaining. A 3-pointer from Danny Green with 1:30 to play put the Spurs in front by seven.
Parker finished with 25 points and Duncan had 24 along with 10 rebounds. San Antonio went 18-of-20 from the foul line.
Golden State was led by David Lee with 22 points, Klay Thompson with 21 and Jarrett Jack with 20.
