GREEN BAY, Wis., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Rookie Brandon Weeden went 12-of-20 while directing Cleveland to a halftime lead Thursday and the Browns went on to down Green Bay 35-10.
Weeden was given a half to work with the first-team offense in the pre-season game and his 118 passing yards helped set up three field goals and a 1-yard touchdown run by Montario Hardesty.
After Cleveland took a 16-7 lead at the break, Colt McCoy and Seneca Wallace shared duties at quarterback during the final two quarters.
A 38-yard interception return for a score by David Sims highlighted the second half for the Browns.
Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers completed 6-of-11 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown before Graham Harrell came on for the Packers. He threw two interceptions.
Cleveland has won both its pre-season games this year and the Packers have lost twice.
