PARIS, June 5 (UPI) -- World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and third-ranked Roger Federer both rallied for five-set wins Tuesday in advancing to the semifinals of the French Open.
Djokovic knocked back four match points in defeating fifth-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-1, 5-7, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1. Federer earlier completed a comeback for a 3-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 6-0, 6-3 victory over No. 9-seeded Juan Martin del Potro.
