NEW YORK, April 18 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony's triple-double of 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists Tuesday propelled the New York Knicks to a 118-110 win over Boston.
It was the second career triple-double for Anthony, whose performance helped the Knicks take sole possession of seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Steve Novak drained eight 3-pointers en route to 25 points and J.R. Smith also netted 25 for New York.
Tyson Chandler added 20 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, who moved a game ahead of eighth-place Philadelphia following the 76ers' Tuesday loss to Indiana.
Paul Pierce poured in 43 points for Boston while Kevin Garnett supplied 20 for the Celtics, who missed out on a chance to clinch the Atlantic Division title.
