NBA: Phoenix 107, Utah 105

SALT LAKE CITY, April 5 (UPI) -- Steve Nash hit a jump shot with 1.7 seconds remaining Wednesday that gave the Phoenix Suns a 107-105 victory over Utah.

The Suns moved past Utah into ninth place in the Western Conference, a game out of the final post-season spot.

Phoenix had as much as a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter before Al Jefferson tied it for the Jazz with 9 seconds to play.

After Nash gave Phoenix the lead again, C.J. Miles attempted a 3-pointer just before the buzzer. His shot missed, but Paul Millsap put back the rebound to apparently tie the game.

A study of the video replay, however, caused officials to negate Millsap's basket and leave Phoenix with its third straight win.

Michael Redd led seven Phoenix players in double figures with 19 points. Nash and Channing Frye both had 13.

Utah was paced by 25 points from Millsap and 22 from Miles. Utah has lost four out of five.
