Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 49 points Saturday and the Oklahoma City Thunder cruised past New York 104-92.
Durant popped in 29 points, while Westbrook added 21, eight rebounds and eight assists as Oklahoma City stayed hot with a sixth straight win.
James Harden came off the bench to pour in 24 points as the Thunder built a lead of as many as 31 points in the second half.
New York struggled without superstar forward Carmelo Anthony, who missed the game with a sprained ankle.
Toney Douglas, Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler provided 14 points apiece for the Knicks.
