NBA: Utah 90, New Orleans 78

NEW ORLEANS, April 11 (UPI) -- C.J. Miles and Devin Harris each fired in 18 points Monday, propelling the Utah Jazz to a 90-78 win over New Orleans.

Paul Millsap contributed 16 points and Gordon Hayward chipped in with 14 as the Jazz, who will miss the playoffs, posted their first win in three games.

The playoff-bound Hornets got 15 points from Chris Paul in their second straight loss.

The defeat dropped New Orleans into the Western Conference's eighth and final playoff slot. The Hornets fell a half-game behind seventh-seeded Memphis with one game to play.
