NHL: Edmonton 4, Dallas 1

EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Shawn Horcoff scored a goal and added an assist Tuesday to help the Edmonton Oilers beat Dallas 4-1.

The win was the Oilers' third in their last 15 games and snapped a three-game losing streak.

Ales Hemsky, Jordan Eberle and Taylor Chorney also scored for the Oilers and Nikolai Khabibulin notched 24 saves.

Kari Lehtonen gave up four goals on 30 shots for the Stars.

Loui Eriksson scored the only Dallas goal -- a power play score at 16:31 that cut Edmonton's lead to 2-1.

Horcoff scored at 18:01 of the second to make it 3-1 and Hemsky closed out the scoring with a backhander 28 seconds into the third period.

Dallas is 2-7-1 since mid-January.
