NHL: Columbus 2, Dallas 1

DALLAS, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Steve Mason stopped 29-of-30 shots and Rick Nash logged the go-ahead goal Sunday in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 2-1 decision over Dallas.

Mason raised his record to 18-14-2 with the win, in which turned aside 5-of-6 Dallas power plays and stopped all 14 shots in the third period for Columbus, which won a fifth straight road game.

Nash put the Jackets up 2-1 less than 7 minutes into the second period when he a got an outlet pass from Jakub Voracek, sped down the left side and crossed in front the net, flicking a backhander past Kari Lehtonen.

Matt Calvert also scored for the victors.

Brad Richards got the only goal and Lehtonen made 37 saves as struggling Dallas lost for the fifth time in six games.
