SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Carl Gunnarsson scored the decisive goal in a three-goal third period Tuesday and Toronto San Jose 4-2 and give Coach Ron Wilson his 600th career victory

Carl Gunnarsson's goal on a tip-in at with 9:50 left in regulation broke a 2-2 tie and give the Maple Leafs their fifth win in six games. Clark MacArthur had two goals and Phil Kessel had one in support of James Reimer's 40 saves for Toronto.

Patrick Marleau scored both San Jose goals and Antti Niemi allowed three goals on 25 shots. The Sharks have lost five in a row.

Marleau gave San Jose a 1-0 lead with a first-period goal. The score held up until 3:27 of the third period when Kessel connected on a wrist shot to make it 1-1. MacArthur scored at 7:30 of the period to put Toronto ahead, but Marleau tied it just over a minute later.

Toronto took the lead on Gunnarsson's goal and added an insurance goal on MacArthur's empty-netter in the closing seconds.
