CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla scored off a feed from Alex Tanguay with 1:11 left in overtime Monday, handing the Calgary Flames a 3-2 win over Columbus.
Tanguay gained control of the puck during a determined Flames attack and whipped a behind-the-back pass to Iginla, who buried the disc into a half-empty net for the game-winner.
The score was the second of the game for Iginla. Brendan Morrison got the Flames' other tally and Miikka Kiprusoff made 22 saves in the victory, only second in five games for Calgary.
The Blue Jackets, who dropped their fourth game in six contests, got goals from Antoine Vermette and Rick Nash.
Starting netminder Steve Mason was yanked after coughing up two goals on four shots, but Mathieu Garon was saddled with the loss, allowing the game-winner among 21 shots.
