NHL: Anaheim 3, Dallas 1

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 30 (UPI) -- Corey Perry had a goal and an assist and Curtis McElhinney made 30 saves, 14 in the third period Monday, to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 3-1 win over Dallas.

McElhinney started in place of Jonas Hiller (back spasms) and allowed just one goal -- a second-period score by Loui Eriksson off a feed from Brad Richards.

Perry, Nick Bonino and Kyle Chipchura scored second-period goals for Anaheim, which has won six of its last eight games.

Kari Lehtonen posted 43 saves for Dallas, which has lost five of nine.

The Stars and the Ducks are both nine points behind eighth-place Colorado in the Western Conference playoff chase.
